World Kindness Day 2024

Today, November 13, is World Kindness Day. This started back in 1997, after the World Kindness Movement Conference in Tokyo, Japan.

One might ask how to celebrate World Kindness Day. Well, that is easy. Spread Kindness around like confetti. No, but really, it is easy to be kind. You could help a co-worker with a tough task. You could help an elder carry something that is heavy. Even something as simple as holding the door open for the person behind you.

Studies have shown that being kind will help the dopamine levels in your brain. Other studies have shown that being kind can cause inflammation of the brain to slow down; which means the brain ages slower.

One act of kindness can have a ripple effect. The more people that are kind in this world will spread goodwill.

Be the kind in the world today and everyday.
